Ross (Owner) competed at the high school and collegiate levels. At Verona High School he was a 6 time state qualifier and 4 time podium finisher and was part of the state record 4x800m team in 1999 and state champion 4x400m team. Verona won the state track title in 1999. He competed in the 800m and 4x400m at University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.
Colin (Green Bay Store Manager) competed at Saint Norbert where he was a 6 time All American in the 4x400 and 800 meter run, and a national champ in the 800. He coached at the high school level at Marquette High after college, and then coached collegiately at Trinity College in CT and here in De Pere at Saint Norbert for a combined eight years. Although he enjoys a good XC race, the track is his true love.
Scott (Appleton Store Manager) My connection to the sport began in high school, where I ultimately found my enjoyment and connection with distance running. I was All- State in Cross Country/ Track in Oklahoma. I next went to school at Truman State University in Kirksville, MO where I was lucky enough to be on a team that placed 4th in the nation at D2 nationals in XC and a USATF Jr Nationals qualifier in the 10k. After experiencing my first series of running-related injuries, I ultimately returned to collegiate running at the University of Oklahoma. After a number of coaching changes, I experienced a formative final semester with Coach Martin Smith, who has extensive background in the sport at the highest levels and continued to help shape my philosophy on training. I ultimately have continued participation in the sport and entered the coaching ranks in the state of Oklahoma. During 9 years as a high school coach, I collaborated with athletes that won 2 team state titles, 3 runner up teams, 2 individual titles, and numerous state placers. I coached at least 12 different boys to sub 4:30 performances, 3 of those to sub 4:20 performances. I worked for 2 years at the college level, where I was part of the 2022 NAIA Indoor National Champion team at Oklahoma City University, which was garnered entirely from the Middle Distance/ Distance group.
Many of our staff have a background in track & field!
